agitatorBalanced round steel shaft with agitator arm segments and cross bolts; driven by a frequency-controlled three-phase motor (adjustable powder quantity). Bearings are pneumatically actuated. Optional ATEX: structural modification.

Vacuum system (APC)Two-part: Filter unit with three filter cartridges (wear-resistant plastic fleece) and extraction unit with a powerful radial fan. Automatic pneumatic cleaning (differential pressure control) prevents filter clogging; cleaned material falls back into the reservoir. Optional ATEX: Filter unit modification, conductive cartridges, clean air sensor at the fan outlet (shuts off in case of contamination).

brush unitRotating brush unit with two balanced brush rollers in the machine head for brushing off excess powder material. The upper brush roller is height-adjustable (infinitely variable via FESTO Servo-Drive), the lower roller is fixed. Both rollers are driven by frequency-controlled geared motors. Optional ATEX: ATEX-compliant drives.

Pneumatic systemAll powder-carrying bearings are pressurized with compressed air. The machine cover opens and closes via pneumatic cylinders. Required pressure: 6.0 bar; air consumption approx. 4.5 m³/h. Valve control via control panel or Siemens SIMATIC controller.

Safety devicesDoors to the drives are protected by limit switches – opening them immediately shuts down the machine. The hood can only be operated when the drives are at a standstill. Operation is only possible at ≥ 1.3 bar; shutdown occurs if this pressure is undershot, and restarts after the fault has been rectified. Optional ATEX: clean air monitoring at the filter fan (shutdown in case of powder leakage) and temperature monitoring at the powder blower.

MaterialtransportFor continuous powdering, the material must be pulled through the powdering machine by a downstream transport device.

Reservoir heating (optional)Silicone floor heating mat for the powder reservoir including temperature control/limitation; interval-controlled agitator when the unit is idle. Optional ATEX: additional monitoring/safety features (bimetallic and fusible link).
